China

China Open Resource for Education (CORE)
China Open Resources for Education (CORE) is a non-profit organization. Her mission is to promote closer interaction and open sharing of educational resources between Chinese and international universities, which CORE envisions as the future of world education. CORE includes 10 Lead Universities.

Beijing Jiaotong University (CORE)
BJTU is a multidisciplinary key university, featuring Engineering, Management, Economics, Science and Humanities. Meanwhile, it is a key base for training talents tackling vital problems concerning technologies and policies in reforming and modernizing railway. With the spirit of solidarity, diligence, practicality and innovation as well as humility and wariness, pioneering and enterprising, BJTU is marching ahead towards the goal of becoming a first-class socialist university nationally and well-known internationally.

Beijing Normal University (CORE)
Beijing Normal University was the earliest established teacher-training university in China. It lays great emphasis upon discipline construction, sets up curriculum system for characteristic of teacher training, educational science, pure science and humanities. It has taken an active part in international academic exchanges and cooperation with more than one hundred oversea universities and international organizations.

Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CORE)
As one of the top-ranked research university, BUAA has had more than 40 projects that were ranked first in China, since it was established in 1952. Nowadays, it has evolved into a multi-disciplined, research-oriented university of engineering science and technology with an emphasis on aeronautic and astronautic engineering, covering such diverse fields as science, technology, liberal arts, law, economics, management, philosophy, foreign languages and education.

Central Radio and TV University (CORE)
China Central Radio and TV University (CCRTVU) is a dedicated open and distance education institution, under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It offers, on a nationwide basis, multimedia courses through radio, TV, print, audio-visual materials and computer networks.

Central South University (CORE)
Central South University (CSU) is a comprehensive and national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education in China. The fields of study at CSU cover 10 branches of learning, namely engineering, science, medicine, management, literature, law, economics, philosophy, education and history. The university now offers 75 undergraduate programs, 207 master's programs, and 128 doctoral programs.

China University of Geosciences - Beijing (CORE)
China University of Geosciences (Beijing) is a comprehensive and National key university balanced developed in sciences, technology, arts, management, economics and laws, as well as maintaining its characteristic in geology, resources, environment and geological engineering. As one of the first 33 universities mandated to establish graduate school, China University of Geosciences was accepted by 211 Project, the national campus-constructing project.

China University of Geosciences - Wuhan (CORE)
China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) with the strong competitive edge in geology, resources, environment, and geological engineering technology combines the science and engineering academic disciplines with the social sciences and management academic disciplines. There are 22 faculties including science, engineering, literature, management, economics, law, education and philosophy. 59 undergraduate academic programs are authorized to grant bachelor's degrees, 117 academic programs are authorized to grant Master's degrees, 36 academic programs to grant Ph.D. degrees, and 13 engineering academic programs to grant Engineering Master's degrees, and 3 academic programs to offer post-doctoral floating centers.

China University of Mining and Technology - Beijing (CORE)
China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) is well-established as a national university. After more than ninety years of growth, it has fully developed in the fields of engineering, sciences, liberal arts and management. It was natural, given the nature of China coal mining industry, that the university should teach the major scientific and engineering disciplines in coal mining, which still take priority in China and has become famous abroad. It was one of the first China universities to establish a management department. The modern CUMT is equally known in resources and geology science, mechanics and liberal arts.

Dalian University of Technology (CORE)
Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is one of the key universities under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education in China. Founded as a school of engineering half a century ago and renowned for its well-established academic style, "Be Diligent, Rigorous, Practical-Minded, and Creative," DUT has now developed into a multiple-disciplinary university of science and technology, covering natural sciences, economics, sciences of management, social sciences, and applied liberal arts, with the science and engineering sectors remaining its major fields of devotion.

Fudan University (CORE)
The single and solitary goal of Fudan is to cultivate more and more all-round talents for modern China. Emulating the other successful institutions of tertiary and quaternary education at home and abroad, the University has been carrying out a series of daring experiments to integrate the various disciplines of learning and to utilize the abundant resources of a comprehensive university. After years of exploring and practicing, Fudan has now established its own curriculum and management system, both of which are unique and progressively improving.

Guangxi University (CORE)
Guangxi University offers70 undergraduate programs, 80 graduate programs (including M.B.A. program and M.E program) and 6 doctoral programs. The present enrollment of 24,205 students includes 181 doctoral candidates, 4,145 master's degrees candidates, 19,879 undergraduates. In addition, there are 20,361 students for vocation training. It has corporations and academic exchanges with 100 universities or research institutes in 28 countries and regions.

Nanjing University (CORE)
Nanjing University is one of China's key comprehensive universities and it functions directly under the Ministry of Education. In its history of more than 100 years, it has cultivated a great number of prominent and learned figures, having thus contributed much to the nation’s revitalization and development.  With its multi-disciplinary structure and highly qualified faculty, Nanjing University is one of the leaders in educational operations among Chinese institutions of higher learning. Nanjing University is also one of the most active universities in China in its international academic exchanges.

Northeast Agricultural University (CORE)
NEAU has the following 8 disciplines: Agricultural, Engineering, Science, Management, Economics, Education, Arts and Laws. There are 3 national key disciplines, 2 key disciplines of Agriculture Department, 18 provincial level key disciplines, and 6 post - doctoral programs covering 16 doctoral directions, 33 master programs, and 46 undergraduate programs. Training Department of the State Soy Bean Engineering Research Center and a key opening laboratory of Ministry of Agriculture, and a key laboratory of Ministry of Education about Dairying Science are located on the campus. The biology has become the National Nature Science Base for Basic Science Research and Intellectual Education.

Northeast University (CORE)
Northeastern University is a nationally strategic university with outstanding academic programs in the engineering sciences and strong academic programs in physical and social sciences, and law and business administration sciences. The University is one of the 33 universities with graduate Schools in the nation. It has been approved by the state as one of the first group of "211 Project" universities which enjoy privileged construction.

Northwest University (CORE)
Northwest University, located in the world-famous ancient Chinese capital Xi'an, is one of nation's leading comprehensive universities. It has 11 colleges, 33 departments, 63 Bachelor's and Associate's programs. Its staff totals more than 2,300, of which more than 1,100 belong to the faculty including more than 600 full and associate professors.

Northwest Polytechnic University (CORE)
NPU is the country's only multi-disciplinary university of science and technology featuring the engineering education of aeronautics, astronautics and marine engineering with the stress on engineering and with the integration of engineering, science, management and humanities.

Peking University (CORE)
Peking University is a comprehensive and national key university. The University consists of 30 colleges and 12 departments, with 93 specialties for undergraduates, two specialties for the second bachelor's degree, 199 specialties for master's candidates, and 173 specialties for doctoral candidates. While still laying stress on basic sciences, the university has paid special attention to the development of applied sciences.

Remnin University of China (CORE)
Renmin University of China (RUC, also known as the People's University of China) is a key university in China. The RUC's strengths emphasize the humanities and social sciences, however, the university also embraces disciplines in the area of natural sciences. The RUC is a comprehensive research-orientated university.

Shanghai Jiaotong University (CORE)
Since its adoption of the reform and opening up policy in China, SJTU has taken the lead in the management system reform in the institutions of higher learning, thus regaining its vigor and vitality as well as momentum for rapid growth as never seen before. A number of its disciplines have been advancing towards the world's first-class level, such as communication and electronic system, naval architecture and ocean engineering, automatic control, composite materials, and metal plasticity processing. A batch of burgeoning branches of learning has occupied an important position in the country, such as Large-scale integrated circuit, computer science, optical fiber technology, systems engineering.

Shanxi University (CORE)
Shanxi University is currently the sole comprehensive university in Shanxi Province with all academic fields covering philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, medicine and management. Its education programs extend to 66 specialities for undergraduates and 18 specialities for the double bachelor's degree. At present, it has 137 general Masters of Arts / Masters of Sciences (M. A. / M. S.) programs, 6 specialized M. A. / M. S. programs, 48 doctorate programs and 4 centres for post-doctoral studies.

Sichuan University (CORE)
Sichuan University has the widest coverage of disciplines and the largest scale of operation in West China. There are 15 key disciplines at the national level, 14 "211 Project" key construction disciplines, 29 key disciplines at the provincial and ministerial level, four national bases for personnel training in basic disciplines and scientific research, and a teaching base for engineering courses.

Tibet University (CORE)
The largest institution of higher learning in Tibet, Tibet university now accommodates more than 5,000 students, of which 950, or nearly 20 percent, are in the Department of Tibetan Studies. It has arranged curriculum for graduates specializing in Tibetan language and literature, the history of the Tibetan minority and traditional Tibetan paintings and music.

Tsinghua University (CORE)
Tsinghua University is one of the most famous universities in China. It has developed into a comprehensive, research-intensive university, covering sciences, engineering, humanities, law, medicine, economics, management, and art. The academic development of Tsinghua is characterized by the integration and interaction of the following styles: the rigorous, scientific approach in engineering, seeking evidence and truth in science, the rich and profound spirit of humanities accumulated over years, and the romance and variety of arts.

University of International Business and Economics (CORE)
The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) consists of over 20 academic schools, departments and research centers. Among the over 30 bachelor, master and doctoral programs that UIBE offers, International Trade, International Economic Law, English Language and International Business Management have been designated as key programs under "Project 211".

University of Petroleum - Beijing (CORE)
China University of Petroleum, Beijing Campus (CUPB), offers not only engineering programs in oil and gas science including chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, geosciences and mechanical and electronic engineering, but also, in computer science, business management and Chinese Language Study programs of a full range from diploma, bachelor's and master's to doctoral programs.

University of Science and Technology Beijing (CORE)
The University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), founded in 1952, is a national key university under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education of China. USTB is famous for its study of metallurgy and material science. While engineering is the focus, there are also programs in basic science, management, humanities, economics and law. USTB is one of the 33 Universities in China that are entitled to establish state-approved graduate schools.

University of Science and Technology of China (CORE)
USTC consistently adheres to the school-running principle of pursuing the national interest and innovative pioneering. The University upholds the combination of science with technology, teaching with research, and theory with practice. In a short period, USTC has turned into a comprehensive national key university of science and technology, with emphasis on the forefront of science and high and new technology.  USTC also offers management studies involved with science and technology and the humanities. With the development of the University, USTC has gradually evolved into an excellent school spirit of "Studying diligently, making progress both in study and development of moral character".

Xi'an Jiaotong University (CORE)
Xi'an Jiaotong University offers a range of high-quality courses taught by leading academics who are also engaged in research at the leading edge of their fields. It is a comprehensive university of natural science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, liberal arts?and law, with engineering science as its main focus. At present, the university has 11,159 faculty members, including 3,247 full-time teachers consisting of 266 doctoral supervisors, 646 professors, and 977 associate professors.

Zhejiang University (CORE)
Zhejiang University is a key comprehensive university whose fields of study cover 11 branches of learning, namely philosophy, literature, history, education, science, economics, law, management, engineering, agriculture, and medicine. The university now has 110 specialties for undergraduate studies, and it is entitled to confer master's degrees in 264 programs and doctoral degrees in 181 programs. Under its administration, there are 12 National Key Laboratories, two National Engineering Research Centers, and three National Engineering Technology Centers. Besides, it has set up 24 National Key Specialties and 39 post-doctoral stations.

Taiwan

National Chiao Tung University
The National Chiao Tung University is located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Over the last 45 years, the Chiao Tung University become center of academic excellence and has made significant contributions to the development of Information/ Communication/ Optoelectronics Sciences and Technology and to the world economy. The University has six colleges offering undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. degrees in Science, Engineering, Management, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Biological Science and Technology. Within these colleges there are 18 departments, 36 graduate research institutes, and 20 degree programs for working professionals. Student enrolment currently stands at 10,500 with 5,500 graduate students and 5,000 undergraduates. The National Chiao Tung University strives to create a balanced and harmonious environment for academic pursuits.
